AMERICAN ANIMAL HOSPITAL ACCREDITATION REINFORCES COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
Our veterinary hospitals are among an elite group with three year American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accreditation. The certificates on display in Animal Hospitals Champions Northwest and Jones Road's lobbies proclaims our accreditation by this national association as practices adhering to its strict standards of excellence. Approximately 14 percent of veterinary practices in North America meet the criteria for accreditation. Animal Hospital Jones Road first received the honor in 1994, and Animal Hospital Champions Northwest followed suit in 1998, one year after we purchased the practice.
The accreditation process requires each applying animal hospital to voluntarily submit to evaluation and inspection of more than 551 individual standards by AAHA practice consultants. The areas on which AAHA focuses include all aspects of surgery, pet health records, pharmacy, laboratory, exam rooms, cleanliness, emergency services, dental procedures, nursing care, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, radiology, training and continuing education. Accredited members must undergo the full evaluation every three years to maintain its status. We invite our clients to learn more about AAHA at www.healthypet.com.

Only you know your pet better.
